Tully Group is seeking a tech savvy, experienced and results oriented Network Technician for the IT Team in the New York Main Office. Ideal candidates will be team players who are highly motivated with a strong work ethic providing an excellent opportunity for growth within the company. Programming and/or web design experience is a plus!  Position is in Main Corporate Office in the Queens Area near Citi Field.  There may be some occasional hours needed outside of Monday-Friday business hours due to help-desk functions and availability.

Position/Location:       Network Technician/ New York Metropolitan Area

Salary:                        Commensurate with experience and qualifications

Network Technician: There is a potential for learning new technologies like routers, firewalls, VoIP, VPN, Wireless Ethernet, IP cameras, NVR, DVR, etc. with plenty of hands-on. Salary will be based on experience.


  • Provide remote support to end users via TeamViewer or over the phone.
  • Perform remote software troubleshoot, installations and updates
  • Maintain accurate client network documentation as wells as replying to help desk emails
  • Set up PCs, printers, peripherals and networking equipment at main office or job sites.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting, tech support at the desktop level and some windows servers
  • Assist IT Manager with network deployment projects (In case of traveling, expenses will be covered)
  • Setup new networks and phones for company job sites in NYC metro area
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 Years of network technician, help-desk experience Preferred
  • Strong PC troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge on Cat5e – Cat6e cabling
  • Strong skills in use of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook
  • Understanding of network configuration at the desktop level
  • Good communication skills for end-user training and tutorial
  • Solid PC hardware, software, and Windows operating system knowledge
  • Telco or PBX experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of firewalls, VoIP, Wireless and VPN is a plus
  • Programming and/or web design experience is a plus.

  Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standard
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment drug screen
  • Must be able to work in an office-environment with normal office noise such as foot-traffic and printers.
